Carvico sponsors winning triathlete
Italy-based warp-knit fabrics producer Carvico provided all the training and competition clothing worn by the ProtekTriathlonRho team at the Gold Coast ITU Aquathlon World Championships held September 9 in
The company was pleased to announce that one of the team members Andrea Secchiero went on to win the world title in the Under 23 category during the event, which involved running 2.5km, swimming 1km and running 2.5km.

Coach Sergio Contini said: “We were certain that Andrea would be able to make himself noticed in a world championship, and he did it, adding a well-deserved gold medal to his personal results for 2009 where he has been one of the main protagonists in all our specialties from the aquathlon and the duathlon to the triathlon.“
