Hyosung presents Creora direction for hosiery in 2011

Fibre producer Hyosung has presented the directions it believes its spandex brand, creora, will take for hosiery in 2011.
It has called the first trend Sculpture, which stands for smooth sheers that envelope and tone the body in classic shapewear hosiery offering power zones that lift, flatten and support legs, hips and buttocks. The concept also brings a wellbeing factor that aids circulation for those on their feet all day. Nude tones in light to medium control qualities bring a fashion feel to this sector with deniers ranging from 15-40 in sheer and semi-opaque.
The company believes creora performance H-350, which it says offers high power and shaping, will fit Sculpture well, as control tights become part of the working wardrobe. Colours are vibrant, with rich naturals and creora black H-100D for deeper black and dark tones and colour uniformity.
The elegance of the Art Deco era inspires the next trend, Theatrix. Hyosung describes this as an expressive and dramatic direction, as glamour oozes through for evening in super sheer qualities with elaborate large motif placement in the form of bows and oversized floral brocade effects.
Another trend is Heritage, a blend of tradition teamed with “a sense of folklore” with the emphasis on natural fibres. Wool and cotton comes to the fore in rib and plain tights with nature inspired prints with creora 40 denier. Heavier deniers for chilly days are enhanced with wool and cotton with creora eco C-400 for vibrant whites and natural tones and steam settable stretch, in smooth and rib textures.
