Dunning to open new Toronto boutique
06/10/2009
Toronto-based sportswear brand Dunning has announced that it is preparing to open a new boutique at the end of October in a completely restored, 1920s-era storefront located on Yonge Street in the heart of the Canadian city.
Geared to be the city’s premier boutique men’s shopping destination, the store will carry a mix of limited-edition made-in-Toronto garments, premium golf clothing, performance sportswear, thermal tops and store-specific pieces. The company’s new 60s-inspired Tour Slim Fit range will also be offered alongside special services, such as year-round golf outfitting, complimentary wardrobe consultations and a custom-fitting program.
“This is a branded retail experience designed to create a classic environment in which men can choose from our complete selection of clothing suited to business, leisure and athletic pursuits,” company founder, Ralph Dunning, said in the announcement. “It’s something I’ve wanted to create since I launched the line. With the strong, consistent growth we’ve experienced in the past few years, and the availability of this tremendous building in a prime location, everything has really come together.”
