Nilit to showcase recycled nylon in Shanghai

Nylon 6.6 manufacturer Nilit has announced that it will showcase its new EcoCare recycled nylon and high-performance Cordura yarns at this year’s Intertextile Shanghai apparel fabrics show, which takes place from October 20-23.
Nilit's claim is that EcoCare is the only recycled nylon 6.6 with deep, uniform colour. “This is the first recycled fibre that retains the properties of our virgin fibres and gives excellent colour depth and uniformity in the regular dye process,” said Alon Weiser, the company's research and development and technical services manager.
The Israeli company produces Cordura yarn under licence from Invista.
