Compression fit specialist signs up NFL star

New Jersey-based sports clothing brand Akadema has announced a deal with American Football star, Mike Adams, who plays for the Cleveland Browns, as an ambassador for its compression-fit apparel.
“Football players have been asking us for years to make compression-fit apparel,” said Akadema's vice-president for sales, Kris Totten. The brand has been more popular until now in baseball and softball, making gloves and bats as well as clothing.
Its products are manufactured for professional players but are also available for semi-pro, college, high school and serious youth players. It aims to design products with the professional player in mind but to price them competitively enough to attract players who are "professional at heart" too.
