Creora announces trends for sports socks in 2011

Fibre producer Hyosung has presented the directions it believes its spandex brand, Creora, will take for socks in 2011. The company’s trend consultants have come up with four themes for this: Timeless, Renegade, Eco Luxe and Jump.

Jump is the one that applies to the sports and outdoor markets. Here, function and performance combine with
Creora in providing comfort and stretch from light to intensive sports socks. White, black and grey continue to be bestsellers. Fibres aren’t confined to cotton. Microfibre with Creora performance H-350 blends enhance the offering in lightweight multifunctional qualities, especially for high exertion activities. The brand’s aerocool polyester gives moisture management and quick dry features to ensure the wearer comfort during their chosen activity.

Sock structures on the extreme sport side offer arch support with added compression zones for muscle recovery with
Creora performance H-350 and mesh structures for additional breathability. An added ingredient, aerosilver, eliminates odours with permanent anti-microbial and odour-preventing features combined with quick drying.
