Invista's Cordura fabric brand and CamelBak, a California-based company specialising in hands-free hydration systems for outdoor sports, have joined forces to develop new hydration pack systems for military applications.

Traditionally produced with 1000D fabrics, the Cordura brand team responded to the request for a light but durable system fabric with 500D Cordura Classic fabric, which is engineered to have a tighter weave and to offer a 35% weight reduction.
