CAMP adds new winter products

15/10/2009

Italian outdoor brand CAMP has added two new products to its winter range for 2009-2010.

Practical and functional CAMP snowshoes are the first addition. The shoes include an innovative system of length regulation, which means that with a simple action the wearer can increase or decrease the active surface according to different conditions of snow.

The shoes are polypropylene base built and offer high levels of resistance even at low temperatures. They also have a polyamide heel and toe and aluminium front crampon, with lower crampons in steel. Each shoe weighs 2.4 kilos.

The company has also introduced the CAMPack X3 and X3 Light backpacks specifically with ski-mountaineering and mountaineering in mind. They have a "ventilated back" system thanks to mesh fabric and four small pads that separate the pack from the back. They also have an exclusive Back Door opening set-up to give easy access to all compartments.

With a 30-litre capacity, the X3 pack weighs 990 grammes, while the X3 Light weighs in at 790 grammes.
