US Lacrosse names Champion as official supplier

US Lacrosse, the governing body of the sport in the United States, has named Champion Athleticwear, part of the Hanesbrands group as its official apparel supplier.
Lacrosse is the fastest growing team sport in the country and the governing body now has 300,000 members.
Under the new deal, these Lacrosse enthusiasts will receive discounts on apparel that they buy from Champion.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with US Lacrosse and the thousands of members they represent,” said Claire Powell, director of brand marketing at the sports clothing company. “The partnership provides new opportunities to bring the Champion brand into the lives of
lacrosse players, of all ages, across the country. We look forward to building a long relationship with the US Lacrosse organisation, and support their efforts to propel lacrosse to new levels of popularity and visibility.”
