Hincapie supplies new compression tights to Team BMC Racing

Hincapie Sportswear has launched a new product in its athletic tights range.
The South Carolina-based sportswear manufacturer has said its new R3 Performance Compression tights are “designed to help speed recovery and improve athletic performance”. The company has also said it will provide the new product to Team BMC Racing as part of its partnership for the 2010 racing season. One of the founders of the sportswear company, George Hincapie, is a team member and current US Road Race Champion.
“Research shows that the use of compression garments can help you ride faster and recover quicker ride after ride,” said Rich Hincapie, president and co-founder of Hincapie Sportswear, and George’s brother. “We use some of the thickest and most supportive fabrics in the industry in our R3 Performance Compression line to make products that perform better and last longer than the competition. Most of the top professionals have been using compression garments for a long time. We’re now making this technology available to our clubs, teams and retail customers.”
