US-based firm to acquire WHL

One of the biggest branded sportswear companies in China, Windbrace International, will be acquired by 2020.
Delaware-registered 2020 is a firm that went public two years ago and is dedicated to acquiring companies, with China as its specialism.
WHL designs, manufactures and distributes a wide range of sporting goods in China, including apparel, footwear and accessories. The shareholders of 2020 approved the acquisition on October 21.
The chief executive of 2020, George Lu, said the deal would provide WHL with the capital to fund growth and expansion.
