Russian apparel brand Bosco Sport has announced that it will sponsor the 2014 Winter Olympics when the games come to Russia.

Host city, Sochi, is on the Black Sea, close to the Caucasus Mountains.

Bosco said the sponsorship deal would be worth more than $100 million. Under the agreement, Bosco Sport will become the exclusive supplier of apparel to the Russian Olympic teams immediately, starting with the 2012 Winter Games in Vancouver and running until until the recently announced Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

"Western sports fans have been very envious (of Bosco Sport's outfits) and now they will become even more so," Sochi organising committee chairman Dmitry Chernyshenko said at the signing ceremony with Mikhail Kusnirovich, the head of Bosco Sport's parent company Bosco di Ciliegi.

For his part, Mr Kusnirovich said: "It's very pleasant that the Sochi organising committee is supporting a Russian manufacturer."
