Cycling specialist to acquire Rossignol's apparel division

Reports in France suggest that ski and mountain brand Rossignol will sell its apparel division to Look Cycle, a company specialising in the cycling market.

Look Cycle specialises in carbon-frame bikes, but has also launched a range of clothing for that sport, including baselayer garments, outerwear and weatherproof jackets.

Business newspaper Les Echos has said it spoke to Look Cycle chief executive, Dominique Bergin, who confirmed the news.

Rossignol's apparel division generated EUR 10 million in sales in 2008.
