Argo to push Single Source Solution at A+A

Argo Workwear, part of the Argo Manunggal Group, one of Indonesia’s largest textile groups, will highlight its Single Source Solution to the workwear industry at the A+A 2009 exhibition, which takes place in Düsseldorf from November 3-6.
Its idea is to promote to workwear brands that it can meet all their needs, from fibre to fabric, to the finished garment.
The company's European business manager, Peter Cook, said in the build-up to the event that the concept could help workwear brands and their clients lower their carbon footprint by sourcing everything from one source, cutting transport, for example, by up to two-thirds. He explained: “The usual route is to ship greige fabric from Asia to Europe for dyeing and finishing then back to an Asian garment maker. The finished garments are then shipped again to Europe for distribution to the customer.”
