Positive feedback for Tencel workwear
Lenzing has invited people from all over the world to describe their experience of workwear containing its Tencel fibre.
It claims the feedback has been positive, with medical-technical specialist from Japan Mayumi Kamide describing its new uniform containing Tencel as comfortable and professional. It said the fabric does not stick to the skin and that odours do not build up, even after a long working day.
Meanwhile, Christoph Suhre, head chef at German restaurant D’Vine tested the chef uniform containing the fibre over the summer. He said his team found the jackets pleasantly cool even at high temperatures and that he produced much less sweat compared with conventional jackets.
Lenzing is currently presenting its Tencel workwear range at workwear show A+A in Düsseldorf (November 3-6) for the first time.
