New creora swimwear trends for 2011
Hyosung’s creora brand has introduced three new trends for the 2011 swimwear market: Jungle Fever, Ocean Scene and Submerge.
Jungle Fever is a rich colour palette inspired by the jungle. It is designed to reflect the intense tones of indigenous floral species in the Amazon as well as reptile skin tones, animal prints and foliage. Digital prints appear on ultra-smooth and compact surfaces and the trend uses creora performance H-350 for stretch and chlorine resistance with creora black H-100D for reduced grin-through. It also uses Mipan regen recycled nylon and regen recycled polyester with creora eco H-550 fit. Mipan soft microfibre nylon is combined with creora lite for the shapewear sector.
Ocean Scene is designed to evoke corals, tropical fish, reflective water and the pearlescence of shells. It uses funky digital printing as and bright iridescent yarns, laminated finishes and foil prints. A retro mood inspires a series of woven stretch fabrics in flat yarn dyed or 3D surface effects. Ocean Scene uses creora performance H-350, Mipan regen recycled nylon and regen recycled polyester fit as well as creora eco H-550. It also uses Mipan duo for two-tone effects and Tencel Sun for UV protection in beachwear separates.
Finally, Submerge is for competition and fitness swimwear, where longevity, chlorine-resistance and quick-dry functions are essential. It includes ultra-light, second-skin fabrics. Black is used alongside a range of vivid brights and prints use motifs and logos in coordinating colours. For high-end performance, bonded seams and clean-cut finishes are designed to offer a glide-like function. The trend uses creora eco H-550 teamed with recycled synthetics including Mipan regen or polypropylene.
