Canada-based golf apparel manufacturer Sligo Wear has launched its 2010 spring line.

The company has added five new performance polos to its range—the Austin, Gator, Gavin, Colter and Hadden—all of which are designed to complement its statement plaid trousers and shorts. The new polos offer four-way stretch for additional comfort and greater freedom of motion during the golf swing. They are available in several new colourways including crimson, ice and Sligo green.

"This collection is definitely geared towards the player that wants to show the Sligo lifestyle both on and off the course," says Shawn Aucoin, Sligo Wear director of sales. "From a popularity standpoint, we expect golfers to gravitate to the line as it will be worn by Sligo Wear staff player Brian Gay, who is known for his bold looks on the PGA Tour."

Brian Gay, winner at the St Jude Classic and Verizon Heritage Championship earlier this year, has been showcasing garments from the spring collection during the PGA Tour's Fed Ex playoffs.
