AATCC to host Mumbai conference and exhibition

The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) is to hold its first global conference and exhibition at the Bombay Textile Research Association in Mumbai on January 28-30. The association claims the event will provide an excellent opportunity for industry interaction among textile management representatives, technical personnel, researchers and academics.

The theme for the conference is ‘Emerging Trends in Textile Processing for a Sustainable Future’. Session topics will include colour, dyeing, finishing, printing, plasma technology, sustainable development, biotechnology and eco-friendly aspects of textile and garment production.

A special networking dinner will also be held on January 28 with the aim of bringing together conference speakers and delegates.
