Software provider Lawson has introduced the latest version of its QuickStep Fashion package designed to speed up implementation and time-to-market for its fashion customers.

The software is an integrated solution that supports more than 70% of the core business processes for fashion sourcing companies and manufacturers. It covers product creation and data management, planning, sourcing, customer order management, raw material purchasing, manufacturing, supply chain management, warehouse management, product costing and integrated financial management.

According to the company, the latest version of the software includes support for a multi-division, multi-warehouse environment as well as US chart of accounts and sales tax information and European sales tax processes. It can support industry-specific processes such as “cut, make, trim” and help organisations manage purchase order processes. The solution offers joint dispatch management on sales orders, which helps ensure orders are complete enough to send out.

It now comes with comprehensive business process documentation and more than 160 educational videos to help train and guide users through common fashion industry business processes.

“With QuickStep Fashion we can quickly provide fashion companies with a flexible and scalable platform to help improve their operational performance in the short-term, support their future growth plans and cope with their evolving business models,” said Frédéric Champalbert, general manager, fashion, for Lawson.  “By reducing the resources, cost and time to implement, the Lawson QuickStep solution helps reduce risk associated with software deployments and is building a proven track record among fashion companies.”
