O’Neill opening goes off with a bang
Surf, snow and lifestyle brand O’Neill opened a new office building at its global headquarters in the Netherlands on November 24. The new office includes a 1,000 square-metre and a 1,000 square-metre workspace.
The event was marked with a fireworks display, a laser show, and O’Neill team riders—Fredrik Evensen, Julien Haricot, Nils Lauper, and Andre Kuhlman—abseiling down the building before flying over a specially constructed snow kicker.
O’Neill CEO, Jan Valdmaa, said: “We are delighted to officially open this new office space. As well as providing us with an ideal showroom in which to showcase our products and concepts each season, it also serves to reinforce that we are backing up our ambitions to continue to grow and invest in the future of the brand.”
The building opening coincided with the sales season launch for autumn-winter 2010-11, and was launched in front of a crowd of 300.
