Surf and winter sports brand O’Neill has launched its autumn-winter 2010–2011 collection, which, it says, includes an “onslaught of new styles, improvements and refinements”.

For the women’s line, Japan has proved a particular inspiration and the garments are grouped under ‘Spirit of Japan’ as the overall theme.

On the technical front, the new outerwear collection includes pieces from the Jeremy Jones Experience, designs put together by the freerider star, which feature 100% recycled polyester. “Committed to reducing our impact on the environment, O’Neill continues to integrate more recycled materials than ever before,” the company said on launching the new collection. It said it would donate a percentage of sales from the Jeremy Jones Experience line to
Protect Our Winters (POW), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to combatting global warming, set up by the athlete in 2007.

The women’s performance collection incorporates Gore-Tex and other premium quality fabrics.
