Ski-suit innovation from Briko
03/12/2009
Italian winter clothing brand Briko has launched a new, improved version of its Beitostolen competition suit as part of its autumn-winter 2009-2010 collection.
The company has said the suit is now more comfortable and functional, and it paid tribute to a group of professional athletes who have worked with the Briko research group to make the improvements. “Athletes will appreciate this garment for its perfect body adherence and high breathability which are fundamental qualities for all sportsmen who expect maximum comfort on the snow,” Briko said on announcing the new version of the suit. “Furthermore, polypropylene inserts, at the level of high perspiration body areas such as the back and behind the knees, optimise the functionality of this garment designed for those who require true high-performance gear.”
Briko’s latest collection for cross-country skiing’s top tier also includes the Cortina jacket. Made completely of Dynamo 2, a patented proprietary fabric that combines warmth, insulation, lightness and breathability. The jacket is available in different versions for men and women.
