Three new winter sports gloves from CAMP

Ski and mountaineering brand CAMP has extended its line of gloves, adding three new models.

It describes the new gloves as "ultra light products for warmth, security and protection from the elements".

The first model, G Tech Dry, is aimed especially at ski mountaineering and ski touring enthusiasts. It is made from the Hipora waterproof and breathable fabric manufactured by Korean supplier Kolon. The new glove has special silocone grip material on the thumb, index and palm, a reinforcement between the thumb and index finger, a neoprene wristband, with Velcro, and an absorbing tissue on the thumb. Each glove weighs 128 grammes.

The specific target markets for the second new model, G Hot Dry, are mountaineering and ski mountaineering. This glove is also made from the Hipora material, although this time it contains Advansa's insulating fibre Thermolite for extra warmth. Othe special features include Amortan, a reinforcing leather product, from UK-based glove leather specialist Pittards, on the palm and the thumb. This time, the weight is 160 grammes.

G Lite Wind is the third of the new glove models CAMP has launched, particularly, in this case, with mountaineering, ski mountaineering and ski touring in mind. This modeal has wind stopper pile, and another Pittards product called WR 100X. It is the heaviest of three, with each glove weiging 90 grammes.

All three gloves are available in five sizes.
