Yarn expo dates announced

The organisers of Yarn Expo Spring have announced show dates for 2010.
The event will run at the China World Trade Centre in Beijing from March 31 until April 2.
The organisers said they were hopeful of attracting 100 exhibitors to the event because, even though the global textile market is still facing economic challenges, demand in China’s domestic market is hight and represents huge potential for growth for the region’s yarns and fibre sector.
Industry experts believe that by 2010, the per capita fabric consumption in China will reach 17 or 18 kilos.
