New snow boots feature Vibram Trick
Vibram soles are being used in the new Nordica Ace of Spades range created by Italy-based ski and ski boot company Nordica.
The range is designed specifically for park and pipe enthusiasts and is said to offer lightweightness, shock absorption and excellent grip.
The shell and cuff are made from high-performance SEBS (styrene ethylene butylene styrene) material, while the tongue is made from high-rebound PU ether. The wedge, footbed and rear spoiler are made from full-shock Eraser material.
The boot uses the Vibram Trick freeride ski sole, which combines rubber and TPU. The rubber compound offers excellent grip for when the wearer is moving from one place to another, while the anti-perforation TPU increases heel braking power and helps the boot release from the ski in the event of a fall.
