Pakistan’s President, Asif Ali Zardari, is visiting Lahore from January 14 to 17 and is making a special effort to meet textile industry representatives while he is there.

Among other groups, he is scheduled to meet delegates from the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the All-Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) on his first day in the city.

On his third day in Lahore, the President will inaugurate a new project being carried out by the National Textile University in Faisalabad. He will also address the public and chair several meetings and events during his visit to the university.
