Hohenstein publishes clothing physiology report
According to the Hohenstein Institute in Bönnigheim, Germany, the scientific discipline of clothing physiology is relatively young; however, the institute has played an important role in developing it since 1946.
It has now released a special publication that can be obtained at www.hohenstein.de free of charge. It describes the milestones in the development process from the first form of human clothing, through skins and leather, to modern functional textiles.
By using the investigative methods of clothing physiology, the institute believes bedding and sleeping bags, as well as garments, can be adapted so they are better suited to their particular application.
