New EMEA appointments at The North Face
The North Face (TNF) has divided its EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) sales operations into four areas: Northern Europe, Central Europe, Southern Europe, and a dedicated resource for distributors and VF Subs. As a result, it has made several promotions and new appointments.
Current country manager UK and Ireland, Andrew Barker, has been promoted to the new position of area manager Northern Europe, while Alex Beasley has taken up the role of country sales manager UK and Ireland. Reporting to Mr Barker will be Daniel Larsson, country manager Nordic region and Jan Van Hoof, country manager Benelux.
Current country manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Udo Heyder, has been promoted to area manager Central Europe and filling the position of country sales manager Germany is TNF team member Michael Austermuehle. Also reporting to Mr Heyder will be Michal Sojka, country manager Poland, Zoltan Faisztl, sales manager Hungary, and Rotislav Posker, who has responsibilities for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Mr Heyder will continue to oversee TNF activities in Austria and Switzerland.
Within the Southern European region, Andrea De Lauso, country manager Italy, Pierre Comte, country sales manager France, and Oscar Bel, country manager Spain and Andorra, will continue to report to the sales director EMEA, currently Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart. Mr Schmidt-Eisenhart was recently promoted to the position of VP/general manager of TNF EMEA and will continue to fill the post of sales director EMEA until a successor is found.
Lastly, Erica Zambon has been assigned to the newly created position of area manager distributors and VF Subs. This move provides a dedicated contact for the brand’s many distributors and subsidiaries, including Russia, throughout the EMEA region.
