Jones Apparel group announces new CEO for branded businesses

Jones Apparel Group has announced the appointment of Richard Dickson as the new president and chief executive officer of its Branded Businesses. He will take up his new post on February 8. Wesley Card’s title will change from president and chief executive officer to chief executive officer. Mr Dickson will report directly to Wesley Card.
Mr Dickson has significant leadership, general management and merchandising experience working for major brands with global recognition.
Wesley Card said on announcing the appointment: “We are delighted to have someone with Richard’s experience and exceptional talent join our company. Richard has a proven record of success and brings extensive marketing and retail experience from a wide range of industries.”
For his part, Mr Dickson said: “I am truly thrilled to be joining Jones Apparel Group.
