ispo prepares for fortieth birthday

The world’s largest sports equipment exhibition, ispo Winter, is celebrating its fortieth anniversary in 2010 and the forthcoming edition of the Munich event (February 7–10) will be the seventieth in all.
Around 2,000 exhibitors will take part this time on 175,000 square-metres of space, considerably higher figures than the inaugural event enjoyed in 1970.
There will be special events and displays of sports and products such as snowboarding that were practically unheard of in theose early days. Visitors will be able to view a special gallery showing 40 years’ worth of ispo highlights.
