Italian textile technology provider Macpi has introduced a new version of its technology that it says will eliminates the need for traditional seams with taping on outdoor garments.

Its latest offering can complete in a single stage all steps of fabric preparation necessary for final garment assembly, the company says. In the second assembly phase, it is possible to choose from a wide variety of suitable Macpi bonding machines, depending on the type of operation and production output desired. The new application has been rigorously tested for permeability, the effects of laundering, and tensile strength. It is suitable for any three-layered fabric with a waterproof joint, including all types of fleece.
