Saucony to launch sleep-suit with Celliant

Massachusetts-based athletic brand Saucony has announced that it will incorporate Celliant fibre into its AmpPro2 line of apparel.
Celliant works with the body’s chemical processes at a cellular level, increasing blood-flow and oxygenation in a similar way to compression garments. It is a polymer fibre containing optically active micro-particles—a patented mix of silica, titanium dioxide and silicon carbide, which gives off blue, green and red light—which scatter and reflect visible and near-infrared light to reduce pain, speed healing, increase energy and improve wellness.
The AmpPro2 line will include an assortment of compression shirts and tights, and also a full-body sleep suit that will help runners and other athletes recover faster overnight.
The line will be available in July.
