Full list of ispo Outdoor award winners

The ispo Outdoor awards for 2010 in all categories have now been announced.

As reportred on sportstextiles.com on January 29, one of the winners in the Textile category was The North Face for its men’s Kishtwar jacket, which is made from Polartec’s new Power Shield Pro softshell weather-resistant, breathable fabric. Klättermusen was also a winner in the textile category for its Bilskirner jacket, made from pesticide-free cotton and recycled polyester materials and offering high levels of wind- and water-proofness, despite foregoing the use of conventional membranes.

Other winners were Lundhags in the hardware category of the Outdoor Awards for its EXA Nordic skating blades, and Dalbello in the footwear category for its V.i.r.u.s. LITE ski touring boot.

Swedish company Silva won the prize in the electronics category for its X-Trail headlamp for athletes, trail runners and mountain bikers, who may still be active when it gets dark, should always carry a headlamp, especially on rocky or curvy mountain trails. In the backcountry category, the judges singled out binding product Marker Tour. Finally, Canadian brand Arc’teryx also featured among the winners for its Alpha SV glove, made of Gore-Tex Pro Shell laminate and Lezanova leather, and is waterproof and breathable.
