Pockets adjust to suit the sport

Outdoor brand Mammut has launched two new jackets, the Albaron and the Adamello, with pockets that adjust according to the sport the wearer practises.
The Albaron is for men while the Adamello is aimed at the women’s market. Both are lightweight (440 and 370 grammes respectively) but still offer reliable weather protection through using Gore-Tex Pro Shell.
Both jackets have large, diagonal front pockets with two-way zips to enable access from the bottom or the top, and to give a larger or smaller amount of space depending on the activity the wearer wants to engage in.
For example, the design makes it easy to move the pockets to chest height for harness compatibility when climbing, or to shift them to the required height for people of all sizes to warm their hands while walking.
The jackets also have a new hood design, making this feature adjustable vertically and horizontally and making it comfortable to wear a helmet on top. They have underarm ventilation, a two-way zip draw-cord hem pre-shaped sleeves with hook-and-loop cuffs and spray-proof YKK zips.
The Albaron is available in jungle green, pepper black, cassis, lapis blue and slate, while the Adamello comes in cirrus, slate, meadow and black.
