Bosco Sports uniforms prove popular

Russian sports brand Bosco Sports won positive publicity at Vancouver 2010 from a simple marketing ploy.
The company, official clothing sponsor of the Russian Olympic team, partnered with the Coast Mountain Shirt Company, a store in Whistler, the venue for the skiing events at the Winter Olympics, and placed four mannequins dressed in the official clothing of the Russian team outside the storefront.
Local media have reported that the sports apparel on display has proved so popular with spectators that the mannequins have become one of the most photographed sights at the Games. The store’s assistant manager, Zalina Zakirova, originally from Russia, said the uniforms had attracted a lot of attention because they were different from most other countries’. She said the design and quality were excellent, and that many visitors had called into the store to buy Bosco items for themselves.
