Special support technology in new Lucy Activewear collection

Women’s athletic apparel brand Lucy Activewear has introduced new body support technology into its latest collection.
The new Perfect Core Collection is the first to include xBAR (extreme body alignment and reforming) technology, which uses the brand’s proprietary Powermax compression fabric.
The technology is a system of strategically placed power mesh panels that offer “targetted core support”. The Perfect Core Pant and Perfect Core Knee Pant feature power mesh panels along the abdominals and lower back, offering high levels of support and compression. The Perfect Core Racerback features a supportive shelf bra and front power mesh panels that flatten and shape the abdominals.
The collection was developed in response to feedback from fitness instructors. Vice-president of merchandising and marketing for the brand, Kira Karmazin, said: “We wanted to offer women the support they need to perfect alignment during practice. The Perfect Core collection helps bring awareness to the core, improving overall posture.”
Prominent Pilates instructor Suzanne Bowen modelled the collection for the launch campaign and was one of the first to test it out. She said afterwards: “I love the Perfect Core Pant because it fits in all the right places. The mesh panels increase core awareness and slim through the waist.”
