Swiss outdoor brand Wenger has announced that it will open its first US retail outlet, choosing Boulder, Colorado, famous as a centre for outdoor and winter sports activity, as the location.

The Swiss company will occupy a space in the city's Pearl Street that until recently housed a Quiksilver store. It will stock Wenger's latest line of technical footwear, as well as tents, sleeping bags, watches and backpacks, and, of course, the brand's most famous product, the Swiss Army knife, in its 130 varieties.
