Surfwear brand Billabong is facing a civil claim from a former licensee in Indonesia.

According to reports, CV Bali Balance is seeking compensation over the termination of its distribution licence. The company is reportedly requesting more than $58 million in compensation for losses it claims to have suffered from the allegedly invalid termination. It is also seeking $110 million for unspecified damages.

Billabong responded to the claim saying there is no basis for it.
