Hogan Hockey socks protect Winter Olympians
According to cut-resistant products provider Hogan Hockey, its Achilles socks helped protect athletes at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver (February 12-28).
A number of hockey players wore its original Achilles cut-resistant skate socks and its Achilles hybrid socks, which are footless, during the competition.
The company claims skate blade lacerations have become a major problem and can lead to career ending injuries. According to the company, the materials used in its Achilles socks help protect wearers from sustaining these injuries and help them to perform to the best of their ability.
