Interstoff seminar speakers announced
The organisers of Interstoff have announced who the speakers for its seminar programme will be.
Representing brands will be Cara Chacon, director of CSR, Patagonia, USA, and Lyn Ip, adidas Group, Social and Environmental Affairs Department, Hong Kong.
Geoff Collins from Lenzing, Austria, will represent fibres, while Petra Katzenberger, Head of CSR at KIK, Germany, will give an insight into the world of retail, and Lode Vermeersch, Huntsman Textile Effects, Switzerland, will speak on chemicals.
Speaking on behalf of their respective industry associations will be Phil Patterson, Chairman, RITE Group, UK, and Liang Xiaohui, China National Textile and Apparel Council, Office for Social Responsibility, China.
Sportswear trends seminars will be hosted by I.S.Planning, Promostyl, Stylesight, Pantone and WGSN.
Eco certification seminars will be hosted by Testex and GOTS (the Global Organic Textile Standard), while functional textile product sessions will be presented by the Taiwan Textile Federation, BASF and Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
The show runs March 17-19 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
