AWI appoints acting CEO

Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) has appointed Stuart McCullough acting chief executive officer.

The appointment takes effect immediately and Brenda McGahan will leave the company on March 17. She will continue to assist in the transition arrangements.

Mr McCullough is well known to Australian woolgrowers and has been with AWI for nine years. He has worked in a range of roles within the wool industry throughout his working life.

The AWI board has begun an extensive recruitment process for suitable candidates for the permanent CEO position.
