Ritratti uses Invista technology for intimates

Italian lingerie specialist Ritratti has created an entire collection using Lycra 2.0 tape, one of Invista’s latest innovations.

The collection, Sensation 2.0 by Ritratti, uses the tape to replace stitching within the garments. According to Invista, the tape’s stretch and recovery features help create ultra-flat seams and sleek garments with smooth finishings. Lingerie garments made with Lycra 2.0 tape offer comfort and freedom of movement while hems using the tape keep their shape and performance even after repeated washes, it claims.

The new collection comprises two lines: Basic-Everyday and Shapewear.

Basic-Everyday comprises bras, a slip, a brief and a thong for young, dynamic women. The items are made from Penn Textile Solutions fabrics, which contain Lycra fibre.

The Shapewear line is made using a technical fabric from Piave Maitex, also containing Lycra fibre. Garments include a bodysuit with preformed cups, a high-waist brief and a panty for women looking for delicate support and a sculpted profile.
