Artextyl uses Gerber’s YuniquePLM
France-based casual and outdoor clothing provider Artextyl is using Gerber Technology’s YuniquePLM (product lifecycle management) solution.
“Faced with increased pressure from our customers and partners to reduce delays, strengthen quality levels and increase supplier collaboration, YuniquePLM emerged as the clear favourite,” says Artextyl owner Alain Harfi. “Each area of YuniquePLM’s software including collection and line planning, product development, task management, and cost control will have a positive impact on our day-to-day operations.”
The solution allows individual teams to begin, develop and track their activities in the area of the system that most suits their needs. The embedded Pantone library benefits the colour team, while the image catalogues are useful for design, sales and marketing. It also helps to control and manage costs.
“The intuitive user interface was also an instant win for us,” explains Mr Y Schlezinger, Artextyl’s IT manager. “After the first demo we immediately knew our design and development staff would rapidly adopt the system and we would see immediate effects in the reduction of time required to go through the development and sampling cycles.”
