French chemicals specialist Arkema is increasing the price of its Rilsan polyamide 12 granules by 6% with effect from April 1, or as existing contracts permit.

According to the company, the price increases are the result of higher raw material costs.

Arkema’s technical polymers serve a range of markets including sports, electronics, transportation and oil and gas. It operates production facilities and research centres in Europe, Asia and the US.
