Hohenstein opens new Santo Domingo office

German research facility the Hohenstein Institute opened a new contact office in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, at the beginning of March.

It will offer quality assurance services for textile and clothing manufacturers, buyers and trading companies in the DR-CAFTA region. Services range from reviews of statutory requirements to the evaluation of different product properties such as fit, workmanship or wearing comfort, to the verification of special functions such as the anti-microbial effect of textiles. The new office will also look after textile harmful substance testing related to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
