BASF to increase Polyamide prices

BASF Corporation is increasing the price in North America of Polyamide 6, Polyamide 6.6 and Polyamide 6/66 copolymer by $0.09 per pound, effective March 29, or as contracts permit.

The increase covers nylon polymer for spinning, extrusion and compounding.

BASF Corporation, headquartered in Florham Park, New Jersey, is the North American affiliate of BASF SE, based in Ludwigshafen, Germany. The company has approximately 16,000 employees in North America, and sales of $13 billion in 2009.
