Hugo Boss’ Boss Green golf and sportswear collection now features Schoeller’s 3XDRY finishing technology. The trousers in the range use the technology to keep wearers cool and comfortable on the green.

“Golfers out early in the dewy morning benefit from the high level of water-resistance of this textile finish; for example when crossing wet fairways,” explains José Janga, senior head of creative management, Boss Green. “Later, when the sun is beating down around midday, the advanced moisture management helps cool the body down.”

According to Schoeller, losing just 2% of water from the body through perspiration can reduce performance by up to 20%. Stamina and concentration can suffer, impacting performance over 18 holes.

Its 3XDRY technology from immediately transports perspiration away from the body and distributes it over a wide area. As a result, the moisture can evaporate quickly, close to the body. This supports the body’s natural cooling function and therefore the wearer perspires less.

Textiles with the 3XDRY finish also dry more quickly after washing.
