Slam uses Dryarn for new yachting apparel
Sailing apparel specialist Slam has teamed up with Aquafil’s polypropylene microfibre brand Dryarn to produce new yachting apparel.
New garments include the Zip Terin t-shirt and Hinghi underpants used by the BMW Oracle racing team. These underwear items incorporate seamless technology and are lightweight and wear resistant, even after frequent washing. The items offer freedom of movement and thermoregulation properties.
The Kyoti t-shirt and Bike Medium underpants use 100% Dryarn New Seamless, offering thermal insulation, transpiration and protection from UV rays.
The new Kirio Bermuda sport trousers are also made from 100% Dryarn and build on experience gained in the America’s Cup races. Available in silver and midnight blue, they offer high resistance to tear and transpiration. They are resistant to light and seawater and dry very quickly.
Women’s polo shirt Shore and the men’s Seabreeze polo shirt are fashionable and practical. They offer comfort, are easy to care for and dry quickly.
Slam has been producing yachting apparel for more than 50 years. The company was official supplier to the BMW Oracle racing team in the 33rd America’s Cup (February 8-14).
