Austria-based cellulose fibres expert Lenzing and Switzerland-based developer of natural and sustainable fibres and additives Litrax have launched a unique combination of Tencel and Litrax-1 natural bamboo stem fibres.

Four spinning partners have been selected to introduce the special bamboo yarn to the textile industry. These spinners will create a range of worsted and ring spun yarns.

Litrax will produce the Litrax-1 natural bamboo fibres with a special DNA code to protect its vertical supply chain and customers. The code will ensure that buyers are getting authentic bamboo fibre.

Litrax-1 bamboo can be combined with other fibres to produce comfortable, breathable garments.
