New products from Nano-Tex

Fabric innovation company Nano-Tex, which specialises in providing nanotechnology-based textile enhancements, has announced three new products called All Conditions,
Speed Dry and Repels Water.
All Conditions is designed specifically for outdoor apparel, and provides resistance to rain, sleet and snow while maintaining breathability, air permeability and moisture vapour transfer. In addition, Nano-Tex says, All Conditions improves the abrasion resistance of the fabric by at least 50%, which is especially important in more rugged environments. It is also compatible with special finishes, such as localised abrasion and enzyme treatments, without degrading performance. It will begin appearing on fleece and denim garments at retail in the autumn of 2010.
The second new product, Speed Dry, improves the drying rate of swimwear, board shorts and activewear by at least 50%, according to Nano-Tex, and works in salt water, fresh water and water with chlorine. Consumers will find swimwear and board shorts with this new technology from summer 2011 onwards.
Repels Water is designed more for patio furniture, awnings, and garden toys than clothing.
